PT Adhi Karya has a long history. Architecten-Ingenicure-en Annemersbedrijf Associate at Selle en de Bruyn, Reyerse en de Vries N.V. (Assosiate N.V.) is a Dutch-owned company which later became the forerunner of the founding of ADHI until finally nationalized and later established as PN Adhi Karya on March 11, 1960. This nationalization became a driver of infrastructure development in Indonesia. Based on the ratification of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia, on June 1, 1974, ADHI changed its status to a Limited Liability Company. Until 2004 ADHI had become the first construction company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
